
Welcome to the Fall 2023 session of After School Clubs!

Registration for fall clubs will open Tuesday Sept. 19 at 7 am and will run until Tuesday Sept. 26 at 9pm.
The first day of clubs will be Tuesday Oct. 3.
Clubs begin the week of October 3rd and will run for 8-10 weeks from 2:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Click on the club name in the table below to expand the list of dates for each club. We will make every effort to schedule make-up sessions in the event that a club is canceled. If a make up session cannot be scheduled, there will be no refunds for the missed club.
Clubs are taught by Meadowland teachers, parent volunteers, and vendors. The grade levels for each club are also listed below the club name. There will be registration limits on club sizes, so sign up as soon as possible to avoid missing out! There are different types of clubs for every grade level, and cost and number of weeks for the clubs can vary. You can register for as many clubs as you would like! Important: You do not need an account to register for a club.
How this works
- Find your clubs in the Course Catalog, and then click on the Registration menu above. You can register for multiple clubs at a time, but only one child at a time. On the Registration page, you filter the clubs by Day and Grade.
- Payment is due at time of registration.
- Make sure to give a clear and accurate spelling for your email address; it’s the only way of getting confirmation that your child has been successfully registered!
- You’ll receive an email once you have registered. Save that email – it will have a link to your personal page that always has your latest registration status, club dates, and other helpful reminders.
- Registration confirmations will be sent via Email ONLY. If you don’t receive email notification, please contact the Meadowland PTO at meadowlandpto@gmail.com to inquire about status. Please do not call the school for club placement confirmation.
- If you know someone that does not have access to a computer, or needs help filling out these forms, please coordinate with someone on the PTO (meadowlandpto@gmail.com) and we’ll fill out the form on their behalf.
- Registrations must be completed by Tuesday, September 26. Please review club selections and grade levels carefully.
**There will be no late registrations!**
Financial Aid
Financial support is offered to eligible families. Please indicate on the registration form if you would like to be considered for financial aid. You can receive financial aid for only one club per child, so if you register for more than one, then the most expensive club will automatically be selected and reserved until financial aid determinations are made.
If you wish enroll in the club, even if Financial Aid is not granted, then prepay before the end of the financial aid determination period. If Financial Aid is granted, your payment will be refunded.
After you register, please reach out to the Parent Liaison Peggy Nieves at peggy.nieves@lcps.org, who will work with the PTO to determine Financial Aid.
Arrival Procedures:
- Students who have clubs will be dismissed to the Library so that attendance can be taken for all 3 clubs being held that day.
- The teacher for that club will go to the library to pick up their students, as well as the roster from the attendance person.
Dismissal Procedures:
- Parents will park out front and come down to pick up their children from the area/room where the club is being held.
- They MUST provide an ID and MUST be listed as approved to pick up the child.
- It is **extremely important** to provide the names of EACH individual you are authorizing to pick up your child during registration. Instructors will be comparing names on IDs to the roster to ensure that all children are picked up by an authorized person.
Rules and Responsibilities:
- Students MUST be picked up at time of dismissal! Two or more late pick ups, defined as 5 minutes past club end time, will result in your child being withdrawn from the club. You will be charged $1 per minute after the five minute grace period.
- NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
- Early school closings due to weather will result in after school club cancellations and students will go home as usual.
- If your child cannot attend a club, you must call the school by 1:00 pm or send a note with your child’s name, club name and the date that the child will be absent. The PTO, the school administration and your child’s teacher must be told of a dismissal change. ***This is extremely important so that we can account for your child’s whereabouts!***
- Please take note of holiday schedules and club length. Club meeting dates are posted on the website. Again, make sure to save your registration email in order to access all the information you need.
- The PTO reserves the right to withdraw any student who does not uphold the same behavioral conduct required in school.
